We have set up some links to help you start looking around the Rakuten site. When you follow a link, you will be taken to a search results page.
The following symbols are used in the item listings:
sold!
picture available
seller is an individual
seller is a shop (There is also
"price negotiable", but right now we don't have enough staff to
offer negotiating services - gomen - and
which looks to be just a device to catch the shopper's eye)
Clicking on a link will take you to a search results list. By default, the list will show thumbnail pictures where available. If you want a text-only display, click on the link, 写真なし一覧, that is found just underneath the symbol explanations and above the item listings. For items with pictures only, click on the link just to the right of the text-only display link - ウィンドウショッピング, or "window shopping."
Clicking on an item listing
takes you to an additional information page, which gives more information
about the item, such as item number, category, name, author, new or used,
general condition, price, number of items available, date that the item was
put on sale, and the name of the seller. Next to the name of the seller is
the seller's feedback rating in parentheses. Underneath the seller's name,
there may be a link to the seller's other items on sale. The link may be a
small blue button labeled "my booth" (
)
or a button-less link (商品一覧) for sellers who haven't set up a booth.
